Art Experiences brings people together through thoughtfully designed, hands-on creative events. From personalized painting experiences such as Paint Your Pet to future custom-designed art events, each experience combines professional artistic guidance, quality materials, social connection, and a finished artwork worth taking home.

Paint Your Pet Experience

Paint Your Pet is a personalized social painting experience where each participant creates a portrait of their own pet on a custom-prepared 12 × 16 gallery canvas. Before the event, guests submit a favourite pet photograph, which is transformed into a simplified grayscale painting guide and transferred directly onto the canvas so everything is ready when they arrive.

During the event, participants are guided through a five-value painting process using black, white, and mixed greys, then finish the portrait with a bold, saturated background colour. No previous painting experience is required.

The experience includes the custom-prepared canvas, all painting materials, guided instruction, appetizers, one beverage, a personalized reference image, and a finished canvas that is wired and ready to hang.

The goal is simple: enjoy a relaxed, social evening and leave with a recognizable, original portrait of an animal you love.

Custom Art Experiences

Looking for something more personal? I also design bespoke art experiences for special occasions, private gatherings, organizations, and community events.

Each experience can be developed around a particular group, location, theme, or occasion—combining hands-on artmaking with thoughtful presentation, participation, and a meaningful finished outcome. Projects can range from intimate creative gatherings to collaborative installations and interactive experiences.

My approach draws on more than two decades of experience across visual arts education, professional artmaking, public art, exhibition design, digital and interactive media, and large-scale collaborative projects. As an artist and educator, I am particularly interested in creating experiences that are visually compelling, accessible to participants with different levels of artistic experience, and memorable beyond the event itself.

Rather than selecting from a fixed workshop menu, custom experiences can be designed specifically around your ideas, audience, space, and objectives.
